Mr. Englander is a partner in LPG&M’s commercial litigation group. His practice covers a broad range of commercial, employment, securities, and corporate law issues including complex business and contract disputes, business torts, non-compete and termination agreements, claims arising under the New York Labor Law and other employment related statutes, shareholder class actions, regulatory investigations, and corporate governance matters arising under both New York and Delaware law. He regularly appears in both state and federal courts in New York and various arbitral forums, while the diversity of his practice allows him to take on matters arising under the laws of various jurisdictions throughout the country. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Englander served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, where he gained extensive litigating experience representing various municipal agencies, officials, and employees in both the Labor and Employment and Tort Divisions. During law school, he was a judicial intern in the Eastern District of New York.
